I've had breakfast with the guy. He isn't evil, who cares if he was/is Obama's pastor. I have a nice pastor, does that make everyone in the congregation nice? Nope, haha. But, I guess that's just me rooting for the underdog, always looking for the positive spin.

Re: 25 Things I Don’t Understand About the Election.

Pastor Paul said: "But you are a pastor, you are supposed to understand everything! Hopefully you will have the answers to all of these questions by the time you get your M.Div. Learning Greek should definitely help."

I guess certin Pastors don't know how bad Mocking is as a pratice too... Hopefully the Greek study takes Pastor Paul to Proverbs 14:6 and 15:12.

As far as your list it is very insteresting; much to ponder.

Re: 25 Things I Don’t Understand About the Election.

Indeed.

I agree on most of that. Although, while I agree that on Nov. 5, 2008 everything will be the same no matter who wins, I'm not sure I agree that on Nov. 5, 2010 everything will be the same, and so I think there's something here worth getting worked up over. It's important. The last eight years have certainly proven that the leader of our country can affect day-to-day life for many, many people.

By the way, I think the elephant/donkey thing is like the red/blue thing. Originally something in pop culture that the parties eventually embraced. I could be wrong though.

Re: 25 Things I Don’t Understand About the Election.

If you need me to I can send you some wikipedia articles like I usually do to answer some of these questions for you.
